Inero barrier can be used as a basin or extra safety to secure assets or protect against leaks.
PROTECTIVE BARRIER DURING MAINTENANCE WORK
Substations contain oil that needs to be handled with care during replacement, due to the risk of leakage. As an additional protective barrier, a basin is built around the substation.
BETTER PROTECTION AROUND OIL CISTERNS
Many oil ports want to add an extra layer of protection around their oil cisterns. Generally, they already have concrete walls surrounding the oil cistern to prevent leakage, so the next step is to install a second barrier in the event that the first fails.
BARRIER AS TEMPORARY BASIN FOR LEACHATE
During dredging work, a basin may be needed to collect leachate/ reject water. The water can be retained in the pool if water analysis is needed.
semi-permanent PROTECTION AROUND CHEMICAL TANKS
The mobile barrier can be used as a semi-permanent solution to build up extra protection around a group of cisterns. In this situation the basin was in place for almost two years.
THE LOW BARRIER TO REDIRECT FLASH FLOODS
As heavy rainfalls are likely to increase, more and more customers have identified the need to redirect flash floods. Together with Medelpad’s Rescue Services, Inero has conducted several tests on redirecting flash floods with the low Inero H50 barrier.
