The barrier can be installed on a variety of substrates and stands firmly on everything from gravel to grass, to asphalt and coarse concrete. On these substrates the barrier does not need to be anchored. During installation on other substrates the barrier may well be anchored. Even during strong wind the barrier may need to be secured before water reaches the membrane.
CONCRETe
During installation on smooth concrete we recommend that the barrier is anchored with concrete screws which are pulled through the premade holes in the foot beam.
NON SOLID GROUND
When the ground material is not solid, one can use earth screws or angled nails that are adapted for soil.
STRAPS
The barrier can be fixed with straps which are attached to the prepunched holes on the top edge of the barrier.
SAND BAGS
Heavy sand bags can be tied around the support legs on placed on top of the foot beams.
EXAMPLE
This image shows how a customer anchored the highest barrier during an installation, which lasted for eighteen months.
